Hellbrunn

After my last entry I felt like I was ruining the party a little bit (because it's always a party on this here blog!). In a good way. But now it's time for the fun. Ya'll ready fer this?!
Introducing: Hellbrunn Palace.
This place was so. Much. Fun.

The Palace was made for the nobility to relax in after a long day of hunting, or on a warm summer's day (I SO want a palace for a specific reason... for a specific time of the year... because you know, my other four palaces just aren't enough). A large portion of the grounds have a spring running through them (German lesson of the day: Der Brunnen=Spring, hell=light/clear. Put it all together and what do you get?). The fun part is the trick fountains all over the place.

There is no. escape. Unless you are smart like Professor Minert, and bring an umbrella. But it is fun and I think the tour guide takes a lot of enjoyment out of seeing girls squeal as they run away and boys trying to pretend they're not bothered about getting soaking wet.

What is also interesting about this place is the movable figurines, which are powered from the spring and are also the originals from when the palace was created from 1613-1619.
And I can't get my iPhone to work after two years...
